Hope

$0.00

Oil on Canvas, 12” x 36”

Sometimes it’s hard to look back on what we’ve been through in the past. The struggles, the loss, the pain, but it is also essential. I painted ‘Hope’ during the beginning of the Covid pandemic, not yet fully grasping the severity of the situation. I can’t imagine the circumstances some people were in during this time in our lives. I count myself so very lucky and empathize with those who weren’t. I call this piece ‘Hope’, because that’s something we need in dire times. Instead of this painting representing anguish, allow it to bring forth a feeling of release. A reminder to take a moment to breathe deep and exhale.
