Brittany is a self-taught artist who has been recognized and awarded early in her career as an emerging artist through both juried competitions and exhibitions. 

She transitioned to a creative life after playing three years of Professional Basketball in Europe.  Driven by passion, Brittany found a new purpose after competition in elite sport through portrait painting. 

She looks to looks to find the consistencies in others that deepen our understanding of ourselves by connecting with the subject through the unique opportunities painting presents.  Born in Hamilton, Ontario, she has relocated to Calgary, Alberta to give birth to her daughter Mabel. Brittany looks to explore new inspiration through the gifts of motherhood and the challenges in navigating a new sense of self.
